Cinemage Launches Print & Ship With True Colours
Vancouver, BC (26 February 07) – Cinemage Corporation is pleased to announce that
it has launched its Giclée Print & Ship service in partnership with True Colours
Reprographics Inc. of North Vancouver, BC. Under the terms of an agreement signed
with True Colours and disclosed by News Release on January 29, 2007, True Colours is
providing outsourcing services for Cinemage’s Print & Ship services, through which
Giclée art reproductions are printed on large format printers from Cinemage’s digital
archives of fine art and photography.
“We are extremely pleased with how quickly we have worked out the outsourcing details
with True Colours to facilitate the launch of our Print & Ship service”, said Edgar Froese,
CEO of Cinemage. “We had to rationalize and integrate our pricing structures to retain
respective profitability, and align the various steps in order processing from on-line order
capture to central order processing, then downloading of the digital file by True Colours
followed by printing of the ordered piece and sending the tube out the door with FedEx.”
True Colours, established in 1991, has become one of the Lower Mainland’s leading
providers of high end digital colour printing and graphics and has been offering fine art
printmaking services from its modern 2,500 square foot facility in North Vancouver for
the past twelve years, achieving close to $1 million in gross revenue in its last financial
year and cash flow positive for many years. The company utilizes a myriad of high
technology equipment to produce a diverse range of products including limited edition
Giclée prints and digital image capture, balancing cost effective operation with leading
edge systems to guarantee the most accurate colour output possible.
