Alan Guest Selected as President and CEO

Vancouver, BC (17 August 05) Cinemage Corporation has selected Alan Guest to assume the positions of President and CEO effective September 6, 2005. Mr. Froese will continue as Executive Chairman.

Alan Guest has been involved in high technology businesses since 1983, beginning as a manager of engineering at Nortel then moving through various assignments in product management, marketing, sales, and business unit management. Throughout his career he has been focused on the management of new product development and market introduction. From selection of concepts worthy of research investment, to stage gate development processes, to market introductions and international product rollouts, Alan has been intimately involved in the development and commercialization of more than 50 products with cumulative sales now totaling well over $1B.

Most recently as founder, President and CEO of JGKB Photonics Inc. Alan built a company from the ground up. Responsible for attaining more than $8.5 M in three rounds of venture capital finance as well as a further $2M from various government programs, he used these resources to take a research concept from the labs of the University of British Columbia through to a qualified product, ready for deployment in critical applications. During his four-year tenure at JGKB he hired and managed a team of up to 16 persons including engineers, scientists, and contractors as well as sales, marketing and administrative staff.

Cinemage believes Alan has the experience needed to take the Company to the next level. The comany has developed several innovative technologies, market tested these over the past two years, and is poised for major market expansion. The company believes that Alan has the experience and drive to ensure that these will now move forward aggressively. Alan's appointment coupled with theCinemage's kiosk marketing collaboration with Hewlett Packard (Canada) Co., announced by News Release on May 2, 2005, represent strategic steps the Issuer is taking to build sales from the innovative proprietary technologies it has developed.

Alan is currently a Director of the Vancouver Enterprise Forum and past Chairman and member of several Science Counsel Of British Columbia committees. As Advisor with the National Research Council (NRC) for eight years, Alan participated in preparing strategic business and marketing plans for technology transfers from NRC, and negotiated Intellectual Property agreements and business loans to associated enterprises. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Physics from Waterloo University, and a Master of Science degree in Physics from the University of Toronto.
