Cinemage System/World Heritage Exchange Update

Software development continues on the Cinemage system. As mentioned in the previous Newsletter this year, the system is now web-based, so there is no longer the need to install any custom software to use it. The system can be accessed through any standard web browser.

The World Heritage Exchange represents the first major service provided by the Cinemage system. However, the system was designed to allow access to multiple services. Thus when you now access the system your are shown a list of the available services.

The system includes a number of new features. These include:

The addition of several higher resolution views of images, with the ability to pan through portions of the highest resolution views (which won't all appear on one screen).
The ability to place watermarks on images, for protection against unauthorized copying.
The ability to create your own personalized collection of images, by saving the information about your favourite images in your own personal gallery.

You can try the system out yourself if you have an Internet connection and a web browser.
