Introduction

This second issue of 1995 announces the official release of the Cinemage Multimedia Museum Archiving System. With its release ACT is now turning to some exciting new projects, still in the museum area. The Virtual Museum is a project involving local museums, while Virtual Museums International is a Canada/Europe collaboration. Both projects are described in this issue.

This issue also contains articles on an experimental information highway link that was set up between Canada and Europe for the February G7 conference, and an article on how Canadian governments are making use of the Information Highway.
